The accusation of racist policy against the country that overcame apartheid sparked an unusually united condemnation across the South African political spectrum.
I’ve noticed that many in the U.S. are unfairly labeling Afrikaners as apartheid-supporting and racist. This simply isn’t true—just as not all Americans support everything happening here. Stereotyping an entire group based on the actions of some is unfair and misleading.
