Maybe firing 400 people from FAA and slashing their budget wasn’t such a good idea.
Just left the tower at Newark airport where I learned more about these concerning blackouts. I’m going to be continuing to work with the Department of Transportation to address telecommunication and staffing issues and make sure you have the safety and reliability you deserve.
