It’s clear the problem with commercial real estate stems from higher rates. If jpow were to ease off the gas just a little, the banks would finally start lending to office buildings again

The only difference between investors not getting their money refunded out of escrow today before it was even invested in the deal and had the deal actually closed is marking those funds to zero now or in 5-7 years

The only difference between investors not getting their money refunded out of escrow today before it was even invested in the deal and had the deal actually closed is marking those funds to zero now or in 5-7 years
These are rounding errors for LA overall and downtown LA office has barely been relevant for a decade aside from a brief window of excitement for media companies in the arts district
