Something I didn't expect as I got older: being the one who has to reach out to long lost friends and associates to let them know a mutual friend is not doing well.

Isn't spam fun? Received one which took 18 hops and almost 20 minutes to get from the spammer to my mailbox. It got delayed in three Microsoft relays (spam filters?) along the way, spending two minutes in two of them and 14 minutes in another. Yet it made it into my inbox anyway.

Is this meeting over yet?
