Whatever happened to Girl Scout cookies? That’s the one thing I miss about office life. There was always someone’s kid fundraising, and suddenly it was Thin Mint season whether you planned for it or not. Remote work really robbed me of that annual cookie guilt trip.

My head hurts in a “is this sinuses, tension or the start of a migraine” way, so I took meds and tapped out of work for the rest of the day. I wish my OOO could say: if anyone needs me, please practice independence & problem-solving like grown adults until HR returns tomorrow.

Every time hockey shows up on TV my brain immediately goes, “oh is this #HeatedRivalry content?” Not the NHL, not a random commercial, just Shane and Ilya / Scott and Kip vibes. This is my personality now. I mean, couldn’t this be Scott in a NY Admirals uniform.

I’m watching S2 of Unlocked: A Jail Experiment and I can’t get past the “this won’t work” attitude from the PSCO staff. Most of these guys are in for drug charges and theft. It really makes you realize how often the problem is way more outside the cells rather than inside in so many cases.

Getting nominated for looking like you aren’t contributing when you’re one of the strongest gamers there isn’t strategy, it’s a production failure. I tried to jump back into Succession & The Last of Us and realized I waited too long. I forgot the plot and didn’t care enough to go back to catch up, so I’ll just never know how they end. Now I’m watching And Just Like That where prior season context doesn’t matter. Maybe this will be better.

Has anyone else tried the Reese’s Oreo peanut butter cups? It was… fine. Not bad, not something I’d ever seek out. If someone hands me one, sure. Am I buying them on purpose? Nope. They switched out chocolate for plain sugar and now the proportions feel off.

So we pardon drug traffickers but wage war on countries to capture their presidents for drugs and weapons? Make it make sense. The irony of this guy charging another president for anything. 2026 is off to a very familiar start.
