My Irish-twin sister @ellenkilloran.bsky.social, who died way too young three years ago, won tickets to see the Diane Keaton movie BABY BOOM when she was like 10. But she got in a big fight with our dad about something and he didn’t let her go and I don’t think I can ever watch that movie.

The annual visit to celebrate @ellenkilloran.bsky.social on her birthday. (This year we got Neutral Milk Hotel’s ‘In the Aeroplane Over the Sea’ and John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s ‘Double Fantasy,’ featuring a bonus pickup of Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Guts.’)

Ellen's brother Johnny here. While I'm finishing setting up her space on this site, I'm going to (temporarily) leave up a cut-and-paste of a quite delberately overlong (25-part, not including this one!) explanation from the other site. ("This place" means "that place," and vice versa.) 0/25

I want to say again (as I've mentioned to several of Ellen's friends & colleagues directly) that my family and I greatly appreciate your support and your kind words about her over the last, very difficult, month. Life will never be the same, but staying connected helps. (5/5)

So I'll be popping in intermittently to maintain this account as a place where we ("we" including "all of you who knew her") can share stories and remembrances of Ellen; I might also post (or re-post) some of her work on occasion. (2/5)

This is Ellen's brother Johnny. Given Ellen's scope of work and presence on this platform she hate-loved, our family wanted to make sure we could preserve it. (1/5)

So are the people who’ve decided they no longer need to wear masks on the subway going to set up a fund for immunocompromised people and parents of small children to take Ubers/taxis? Or have you all decided we don’t deserve to have lives

This is despicable, on one of the coldest days of the year. https://t.co/j0kLTWbANq

I know someone looking for a studio, 1 bed, or even a room in Brooklyn ASAP (April 1 move-in), if anyone knows of anything. Thanks!

I’m in hell, aka a taxi riding in a bike line while i and cyclists scream for him to get out

People are aggressively, unapologetically refusing to wear masks on the subway where they are still required. What are you planning on doing about this @NYCMayor??

There are a lot of people mysteriously missing in the US right now and not a lot of updates

Severance is upsetting but I like the same skirt on Day 2 and I hope it continues. It’s a good skirt and how is anyone supposed to not repeat outfits

This archive is still all there for free because I have low executive functioning so give it a whirl and consider a paid subscription as I work on the next mystery & a possible Kubacki bonus entry https://t.co/Wwb2U7nZdY

Looking into the #AshaDegree case, disappointed to find that the inmate who contacted a local newspaper with a tip died in prison in July. This wasn't reported but I learned it when I tried to contact him. LE interviewed him and another inmate, but said it was a dead end.
