It was so nice to visit 'my' writing group last night to adjudicate their opening 2000 words of a novel competiton. It was a difficult task choosing the winners from 22 great entries. But then I'd expect nothing less from Strathkelvin Writers' Group.

Had a great evening last night organised by The Book Nook Stewarton listening to Ann Cleeves and Lin Anderson discussing their lives of crime. Neither showed any remorse!

Went on a harbourside walk with Tidelines Book Festival this morning. Perfect weather for it. Surprising how many literary connections there are with the area. Finished up in the bookshop. Would have been rude not to buy a book...or two, don't you think.
