Former CDC exec. Public health taught me the power of we. Now I’m channeling that into democracy—because silence isn’t strength, and I don’t do sidelines. Systems can save lives… or crash spectacularly. I’m here for data, decency, & taking back our country
Andrew Tate has been charged with human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and organized criminal activity involving coercion of women for commercial sexual purposes.

But he gets protection from Trump. It is absolutely grotesque.
Paul Ingrassia — now a Trump appointee at DHS — intervened in a Tate investigation on behalf of Andrew Tate, praised the extremist, and questioned serious law enforcement action. This isn’t about due process. It’s about favoritism and corruption at the top.

Federal authorities were chided for seizing electronic devices from Tate and his brother, and told to return them, records and interviews show. Experts said the intervention was highly inappropriate.

Vance was seen as a loyal MAGA convert, but his rise and ambitions clashed with Trump’s transactional approach. By undermining him, Trump exposed the fragility of his grievance-based coalition.

Of course it’s a PR stunt. Trump doesn’t need Congress to “approve” transparency — the DOJ could release the Epstein files tomorrow. The theatrics are the tell: he wants the performance of truth-seeking without the risk of any truth actually coming out.

Trump isn’t “playing hardball” on the Epstein vote—he’s cornering his own party because he knows what might surface. When Trump leans on lawmakers to stop transparency, that’s not strategy. That’s fear. And the GOP is letting him hide behind them, again.
