We find that pos (neg) security effects of trade can improve (worsen) attitudes toward politically salient adversaries (🇷🇺), even in the context of an actual conflict.

Interesting for understanding how to frame benefits -- & costs -- of trade w/ economic partners posing security risks (eg, 🇺🇸 w/ 🇨🇳).
