We find that pos (neg) security effects of trade can improve (worsen) attitudes toward politically salient adversaries (πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί), even in the context of an actual conflict.

Interesting for understanding how to frame benefits -- & costs -- of trade w/ economic partners posing security risks (eg, πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ w/ πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³).
