Half skull, half person.
I've always wanted to turn this guy into a graphic novel. Wrote a series of poems that go along with his story too.

My favorite combination is finding the words visually to pair with the poem. That's what I love about this piece - the imagery working alongside the poem itself.

I've always been drawn to anatomical features - maybe even more than outward ones.

There's something about the universality of it. Everyone has a heart. Under the surface, they all look relatively the same.

But the subject is not you.
