It was my birthday last week (you may all send me tribute and presents now) and my partner got me the most awesome Marvel Crisis Protocol model they've made so far (sorry to my boys Gambit and Nightcrawler but it's true!). I adore painting fire effects so this will be loads of fun! #wargaming

Next step is to get some bigger tubes of decent acrylic paint (this is a new realm for me so I'm very happy for recommendations) because painting this dicetower with Citadel pots is going to be a big no from me!

The trailer for the new Frankenstein looks SO gothic and cool. Could be a perfect Halloween movie to watch with my partner who isn't a big fan of slasher movies or gore. Interested to know what @markalatham.bsky.social thinks.

Poor old Fred Colon. Still he looks pretty happy here I think. He's from Micro Art Studio and was painted as a birthday gift for a very good friend who is gradually accumulating a lot of painted Discworld figures because I can never think of anything better to get him!

I only picked up two models from Colours. I had to get the awesome chubbicorn from Modular Worlds (check out their Etsy store, especially the cheese golem!) & I also got this cute Good Boi from @igsminis.bsky.social. Also got some scatter terrain from Blotz which are part built so pictures soon.

Yesterday evening was a bit bittersweet.
My Dad didn't often get really into TV shows but there were a couple he really liked. One of his all time favourites was The West Wing which he still brought up like a decade after he watched it.
