Reverie was so good. Probably my favourite in the series so far. Enjoy!

50 years of effective anti-socialist propaganda created an environment where most people were primed and ready to believe anything as long as you invoked socialism or communism as the enemy. Ugh.

Glad I didn't try to swipe...

So... The least talented musicians still alive today? I see.

It's in my top ten for sure.

There's a lot of grim political news but I have been near universally impressed by Manitoba's premier Wab Kinew. He can't get everything he wants done... But nearly every time I see him speaking he's on the right side of history and nearly everything he has gotten done has been really good.

Absolutely deserved. Spectacular soundtrack that deserved way more attention than it got last year.

It feels once again important to remind everyone that it is not possible to become a billionaire in an ethical way. An ethical person could not tolerate the degree of abuses of employees and customers that it takes to accumulate that wealth. If you reply with 'not my billionaire', I'll block you.

The wealthy and powerful believe anyone who isn't isn't human and thus doesn't have rights. It's horrifying but it's a truth we all need to internalize.

I am glad I have no idea who any of these people are, so I guess they're not triggering at least one leftie.

It’s unconscionable that Canadian corporations, including one with operations in Winnipeg, are profiting in relation to Trump’s escalating authoritarianism.

We can never allow billionaires to assist in threatening democracy abroad, which is just the first step towards threatening democracy at home
I am deeply disappointed by reports linking BC-based @hootsuite.com and Jimmy Pattison Developments to ICE. Whether through DHS contracts or leasing processing facilities, Canadian companies have a responsibility to uphold human rights wherever they operate. 1/3

Those people are terrified of the idea of their house value shrinking and putting their future at risk and thus they now are willing to support anything that increases their house's value... And that's how we got here.
January 30, 2026 at 7:51 PM
This is not entirely true. Many older people use the equity in their home to fund retirement... either through partial mortgages or by eventually selling that home to fund late life rental properties. The problem is that we've tied so much of the average person's networth into housing meaning
January 30, 2026 at 7:51 PM
No they're going to transfer ownership to businesses who will turn them into high rent units. Obviously.

Housing is a human right. Fuck all these late stage capitalist grifters.

That's the thing... I'm not. Other factory games have never appealed to me at all.

How the fuck is arknights Endfield this fun? I legitimately went into it expecting I'd be dropping it after a week or two but wanted to give it a try because I liked the character designs... And I'm like nonsense addicted. I'm sitting at work like "crap I hope my factory is okay".

Pausing is allowed and no time pressure on dialogue choices are two things I wish were literally just always true.

Follow the @birdperhour.net blue sky. Just regular pictures of cute birds in your feed. It's my palette cleanser from the awful that is real life.

Tbh neither a nor b sound right to me. I would do amazing old little house. Unless I was targeting the colloquialism "little old".

Not terribly surprising... None of their stuff was very well received. Sad for the workers impacted, I hope they find work elsewhere.

It's a really special feeling when someone you respect tremendously follows you on social media.

I think we can see by now that the current US administration is opposed to everything good and pretti in the world.

You don't care about workers except in the same way you would say you "care" about your toolbox.
