Every time I see a post like "Fanfic authors I beg you to write like this" or "Fanfic authors you need to follow these English rules whatever" I lose my marbles. I need these people to pick a book from anywhere outside the Anglosphere and realise that not everyone was raised thinking in English

I've read the Mabinogion, the History of the Kings of Britain, Chrétien's Arthurian Romances, Marie's Lais and the Breton Lays, Merlin and the Grail and I can finally say that I'm so freaking tired of Gawain's ass pls for the love of everything nice on this green earth just give me Galahad already

my problem with these moments like the one heated rivalry is living is that oversaturation of content everywhere I look about the same freaking thing, and as much as I enjoy a piece of media I cannot stand seeing it everywhere for weeks without getting mad at it for being everywhere?!?!?!
