New to Approval Voting? Here's what you need to know. With AV voters can approve of any number of candidates, and the one with the most approvals wins. This simple change at the ballot box means we can elect candidates with broad support, and eliminate the spoiler effect.

The Utah State Senate 11 election was a landmark: the first state-level race decided by Approval Voting (AV) & a majority-digital ballot. 44.6% approved more than one candidate, proving AV elects broadly acceptable, low-polarization leaders. Congrats Senator Elect Emily Buss!
