Played with some geometric shapes and a warm color palette today. A few little bleeds here and there, but I'm calling this masking tape experiment a success.

Page 35. Decided to ignore gravity today. ☁️

Building this little outpost was a lesson in not overthinking the "how." The clouds didn't land exactly where I wanted, but the floating rock feels solid enough for a daydream.

Why I Killed My Cyberpunk Dostoevsky 🗑️

I just trashed the draft of my sci-fi retelling of The Gambler. On paper, the concept was solid, but the worldbuilding sabotaged the story's soul in three fatal ways:

Tried a study of texture using black ink and watercolor. It’s surprisingly hard to keep track of the "over/under" logic once you get into the rhythm! A good exercise for patience and shading, even if the lines are a bit loose
