This is my author account. I am all for fairness and justice. I write thriller/dystopian with female-centered protagonists mostly.

Got questions about the book, project, author process. ect, feel free to ask them.
I’ve been on this earth long enough to see the invention of dating apps and I still have no clue how to work one to my advantage.

In other news, i downloaded several new games on steam last week and figured out the next few scenes of the book.

Want to bring realistic feelings to your work? Use your past experiences and use them to describe what the character is feeling right this moment. Sad, hurt, heartbreak, etc. it works wonders.

Rain and Sleet day today. And I was going to wash my car. Forecasted more rain/sleet/snow rest of the week. Nothing to do but just roll with it I guess.

I think one of my favorite scenes in the book is when one of the characters, who is usually standoffish and mean shows weakness and allows themselves to be vulnerable, even if is just for a few moments. Definitively, if you want more, check out the book.

Is so cold outside today my hands are freezing. Why not wear gloves you ask? I have to use nitril gloves for my kind of work outside.

Sometimes is good to throw a wrench into your story when you are stuck. If it doesnt work out, you can always delete.

Writing advice is all well ans good but if you don’t put it into practice, then is worthless. Dont be afraid to have your characters suffer consequences. Dont coddle them. Otherwise the danger feels fake. If your character doesn’t come out of the other end with scars, then what was it for?

Fun fact: Kannon’s birthday, the main character of my book, is on November 26th.

People who say you have to write every day are right… to a degree. But it doesnt mean you have to follow that rule. Write in a way that is comfortable to you, but do it consistently, which I believe is the true message of that rule.

Found one of the old beta reader feedback letters I got for the book and I love rereading it. It shows you how people think/react to the characters and the world around them. I think is what I enjoy the most about writing.

Writing Tip:
Visualize your worldbuilding in whatever way that works for you. If that means creating a massive conspiracy board on your wall with red string linking plot points together, go nuts! Whatever works for you, works for you!

This second book is both a realization that I probably bit off more than I could chew, and loving how its all coming together in this rewrite. (And the fact that I will have to ask a lot of people for references to be able to write some of the scenes)

Writing on the second book and realizing that I may need to draw a map of the setting location. This book is driving me to write about things I’ve never thought id be writing about. What the heck did I get myself into?

I’ve had to look into all manner of things to work on my book. From makeup to dresses to city infrastructure to acreage of buildings. Is all of that directly referenced in the books? No But it helps you build a more realistic version of what you’re making to avoid pulling the reader out of the story

I’ve been researching how headlights look through the woods when not coming directly at you. Whoever tells you writing is easy is lying to you.

Im not really a fan of social media due to how it affects my mental health, but I figure I can just post the random thoughts that cross my mind often.

Ive noticed car manufacturers put heat and ac controls digitally on the touch screen. If you guys are going to do that, why not put controls on the steering wheel? I’ve almost crashed due to that poor choice of digital controls because now I have to turn to look at a screen. My weird hot takes.

The good thing about being the one to clean the bathroom in a place with roommates is that you get to be the first one to use it once you’re done cleaning it.

Good grief. So new job has sucked life out of me. Plus is book has sold and slowly chipping away at my second book in this weird series. Managing a full time job with no exit times and then running out after getting home doesn’t help. But second book will be sweet.

Hello, just leaving this here which is my book. I worked for 12 years to publish this. It would mean a lot to me if you would check it out and get a copy.

Ive been devoting a lot of time worldbuilding on my DnD campaign than actually writing the second book. Welcome to writing with ADHD.
