There's a certain Swedish VPN provider that allows you to mail them a note with some numbers and a crisp five euro bill to pay for your monthly subscription.
I totally don't know why, but it came to my mind today. Completely unrelated to any events currently happening.

Looking at how much it's costing me to ship books from UK, it might be more financially feasible to find a friend in UK, ship everything to them and then once every six months or so just fly over to visit them, take them out for a pint or six and then smuggle the books back home.

Having lived with a metric boatload of pain for several months now, I've gained a new appreciation for the ways some authors depict it in media.
I'm all for rising, gritting your teeth and never giving up, but there has to be that little place where you can just crumple up and cry your guts out.

I'm tempted by the premise of satirically flipping the hero's journey with the hero(ine) doing everything to actively hide from the call to adventure and in doing so - defeating this great evil.
