Riddle me this? If the Constitution says that a quorum for the House is a majority of the members of the house currently serving and there are three vacancies, why can't the 217 members that want to release the Epstein files go to work, call for a quorum and vote.

I bet the only reason the Biden "Cover-Up" book information came out today was because Trump is accepting the castle in the sky from Qatar today. Can't let that story get all of the attention now can we. Gotta throw Biden, who is not president, under the bus.

I have a question about recent quotes from the orange one's team. If,as they say,the president does not have to follow the Constitution,because his oath doesn't say obey,doesn't that invalidate Article II? Can he have powers that are given in the Constitution and then not abide by the Constitution?

One thing that really bothers me about Schumer's capitulation is that if the Senate Republicans wanted to stop the shut-down and The Democrats did not vote for cloture, the Republicans could vote to end the fillibuster being used for CR votes. Or they could end fillibusters like Trump wants.

Is it just me or does all this stuff with the firings of federal employees bring up the idea of a massive labor strike?I think there was one in Iceland not long ago over pay.If there was a massive strike including the military,air traffic controllers,law enforcement,maybe they would change tactics.

A while back, when I was working in Fairfax schools, one of my clients had bone cancer. She was in a lot of pain. She saw some of my photos one day. She said this photo with the bee doing her work made her feel that everything would be alright. Maybe it can do that for others too. Enjoy.
