Under the proposed Israeli plan, per PM Netanyahu, "Population will be moved, for its own protection." This is a clear violation of international criminal law. Particularly concerning is the idea to move a majority of the population to "an area sterile of Hamas"

“Germany, Poland & Spain signalled reluctance to dispatch peacekeeping forces.” Finland’s foreign minister also expressed scepticism to me on Fri about feasibility of Finland sending troops. They won’t be the only sceptics. But lot depends on US backstop.
