A recording of Comey having a phone conversation for example saying he was fabricating evidence against Trump. Even if not admissible in court and clearly fake, could be run a thousand times on FOX to destroy Comey’s life.
With AI, faking evidence to be used to prosecute enemies of the state should be easier. Would not put it past Musk to want to use his AI platform for this nefarious purpose. Fake phone calls, copies of fake documents, even photos will be easy to do.

Imagine if Dems in the Senate hadn't caved. The House wouldn't be in session rn, the discharge petition wouldn't be signed, people wouldn't have SNAP, govt workers would be RIF'd & the GOP would have some decent talking points. But also online rage addicts would be happier! YMMV!

I just don’t see how that works much longer in a world where most of the problems we face do not have “either/or” answers: they have “both/and” answers. Key actors must be able to occupy multiple states, and hold competing ideas in tension, at the same time.

I just keep coming back to this massive change in the voting behavior of people who say the economy is important to them. Trump won that group by 63 percentage points in 2024 and Democrats just won them by 30 points. There’s about a 90 percentage point swing here. G Elliot Morris.
