If there's one thing you can say about Larian, it's that they listen to their audience. I really hope the backlash today demonstrates to them a love for what they do and how they have done it – and that it makes them reconsider this road they're going down with generative AI.

total aside i really want a city builder video game where there's no longer any negative cost tradeoff to using clean energy and the tech/economic systems emphasizing ways to retroactively solarize older buildings, incentivizing balcony solar, regulatory schemes for solar parking lots, etc
the thing is there really is a epochal tech revolution happening, it’s called renewables and green industry
