Former England footballer Andy Carroll has avoided a driving ban but ordered to pay £1,052 bill in fines and court costs after he admitted using his mobile phone while driving to film a protest at the Bell Hotel in Epping.
Carroll was given six penalty points and now has 16 on his licence.
