A rare instance of a show I enjoyed (tho it was definitely a bit wackadoodle!) but am okay with it being done. That said, I will miss Will Sharpe’s British accent and his sexy curls falling into his eyes making me feel like a googly-eyed teenage girl. 😂

Watching & enjoying AppleTV's #Pluribus - seeing a lot of parallels re: the current political environment - i.e. feeling insane/alone among folks who are clueless, apathetic, or actually voted for the guy - but it's even creepier with Zosia (Karolina Wydra) giving me serious Tulsi Gabbard vibes.

I may have LOL’d over this more than I should 🤣

Wouldn’t it (actually) be ironic, don’t you think? 😂

Very disappointed to see this about ‘English Teacher’ — Season 2 has been even better than its stellar 1st season. And honestly it’s everything I wish that the declining ‘Abbott Elementary’ would/could be. That said, it’s very niche in its humor and queerness - but very much my niche! 😂

It’s substantially less cool that I couldn’t see this with a naked eye, but this long iPhone exposure is allegedly the Northern Lights all the way down in Las Cruces, NM. Tomorrow is supposed to be better, so we shall see (or do another long exposure 😂🤷‍♂️)

I’m thrilled about the Supreme Court not revisiting marriage equality 🏳️‍🌈but I’ve had to see that woman’s face way, way, way too many times today… or frankly ever!

Very true, but who could he possibly be talking about? 🤣

Definitely no complaints about all the Jonathan Bailey content today! 😍 We’ve been smitten since first seeing him on ‘Broadchurch’ way back in the day.

What’s up with the NYT’s Spelling Bee not accepting this word? Tho I’m trying to recall if they accept “fart,” but this is so much more formal. 😂

My go-to Halloween picture I post when it’s been a tough year, and there have been a few of them of late. 😅

Pretty shady, but refreshingly accurate, headline from all places… People Magazine! 😱😂

It’s total bizarro world when RFK Jr. is being used as a defense - plus just the overall (typical) martyrdom on display from this guy when everyone was trying to (over?) conservatively trying to save lives and not spread the virus. And like NMSU needs another lawsuit 🤦‍♂️
David Clements was fired from his tenure-track faculty job at New Mexico State University in 2021 for refusing to comply with COVID-19 campus policies.

Now, citing actions by HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., he is suing the university for reinstatement, claiming his views have been vindicated.

If history does in fact repeat itself, I feel this will ultimately happen - but as someone in his late 50s, I’m not sure it will happen in my lifetime, but hopefully. 🤷‍♂️

Just saw the #Ontario Reagan Tariff World Series commercia. Bravo (Oh) Canada. Trade war or shade war? 😂

Pretty stoked about the lineup for the 2026 Santa Fe International Literary Festival: Alison Bechdel, Judy Blume, Lauren Groff, Carl Hiaasen, Kiese Laymon, James McBride, George Saunders, Colm Toibin, Ocean Vuong, Isabel Wilkerson… and more! Can’t believe it’s Year 5 already! 💙📚 #BookSky

Never imagined that an Instagram account named ‘Houseplants of the Resistance” would resonate so much. 😅

Pretty much sums things up!

This sums up our overall “protesting” experience pretty well — it’s been very therapeutic… a processing of grief on both a personal and societal level.

Talk about symbolically too on the nose… yeesh! 😱

My hubby’s family runs the political spectrum, while we 🏳️‍🌈 were No Kings, his sister was at a gun show in TX, and his brother avoids it all. Thankfully his parents are Democrats, but also tend to avoid uncomfortable political talk (tho it’s all uncomfortable these days) 🤪

What a great way to kick off my birthday at the #NoKings protest in Las Cruces, NM! The biggest crowd yet and such “joyful warrior” spirit! It’s so easy to get down these days and these rallies are such an emotional lift!

An a-ha moment that I’ve had over this past decade or so, is the the GOP are more Old Testament (vengeful god, existential battle of good vs. evil, etc.), while Democrats are more New Testament/Jesus-y (help the poor, welcome the stranger, etc.) 🤔

This actual quote made me LOL and then I thought about how true and unfunny it is. 😂😅
