I've been asked by a member of congress for the names of researchers impacted by the NIH grant freeze. Every one I've reached out to has been afraid to speak up as that could worsen their grant status. Understandable, but Tim Snyders's book "On Tyranny" says "Do not obey in advance."

Great article. the camp I fall in to is clear (since I'm Pres of PNHP) but the author does a really great job providing a blueprint of things that could be tackled in the absence of single payer. IMO This quote is the most important: "we need to learn how to explain those reforms to worried people."
