Composing for me is (often) a form of meditative prayer. Sometimes it comes from events in my life or the wider world, often when I simply don’t know what to say in words. Not having adequate words has certainly been the case over past few days. musescore.com/user/7239252...

Fear can never be the ground for true prayer. We must begin our spiritual life with a firm dereliction of any sense of duty…a spirituality that flows solely from duty rather than desire will always lack in love.
