A close-up of Stinking Hellebore, a green plant which is still in bud and has 3 ladybirds that have overwintered on it and are to be found along its stem, one above the other, with a short distance between each one Some dark green leaves of the Stinking Hellebore plant that have pale spots all over them and some darker brown patches too which are probably caused by a fungus or similar; the leaves are fan-like in shape, with narrow, spiky edged ‘fingers’
