Certainly got our fair share of the rains and then some. Thankfully the water level went down so the horses could get back to the barn it was pretty high midday yesterday they got caught on the other side of the pond.

My app says 82, and maybe it is in the shade, but onions don’t grow in the shade, so I am much more inclined to believe my weather station thermometer which sits out on top of a hill in the sun which says it’s 98. Time to come in and cool down!

I just love that Joan came out to the farm this weekend! She was as always all smiles. She even brought two friends one who joined the CSA. Joan has been with the Farm since day one and was a customer of the garden shop even before it moved to its current location. That’s a loyal customer!

Well we survived that Arctic blast. The sunrises always look so promising and hopeful. It’s been raining most of the night seems like it’s coming to an end but it will be muddy and flooded in the barn again. I sure do long for more mild weather.

Apparently it is love your pet day. Some say bc we do not process any of our animals they are ALL just pets, I dk if that’s bad. I do collect and sell eggs from our chickens so there’s that. But I inherited my brother‘s horse when he moved, so she is pretty much a pet, plus cats and 🐶 Badger. ❤️♥️
