If there were no NDAs all around I could tell you about twenty projects in the last five years alone that followed these exact steps except for "and it all came together beautifully". If anything can be learned here, it's not that they found a writer on a writing site and a musician on a music site.
The making of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 could be made into its own movie.
- Led by a former, bored Ubisoft dev
- The team was almost all junior devs
- Writer was found on Reddit
- Composer was found on SoundCloud
And it all came together beautifully.
