One side of my brain longs for the ICE brown shirts to finally stare along the barrels of guns ready to shoot back. The other one recoils before the significance of such an encounter: the proverbial crack in the damn that presages a huge and inconsolable disaster.

It is important because the ICE killer’s conviction in the court of public opinion has zero effect on the goon and his puppet masters. He must be prosecuted and convicted before a court of law by a jury of his peers. That entry wound on Renee’s left side of the head means “beyond reasonable doubt”.

I believe this is wrongly framed. Morality’s at stake; ergo,the proper question is whether ICE, by preventing Renee from receiving help, incurred in moral fault.Maybe Renee’s death was inevitable,but allowing assistance was a moral imperative.Thus, in the realm of morality, ICE killed Renee twice.
