The ESA Fellows are a lifetime recognition to those who have advanced the frontier of knowledge in economics through the use of laboratory and/or field experiments. The 2025 ESA Fellows are: Mark Isaac, Rosemarie Nagel, Robert Sugden, Lise Vesterlund and James Walker.

The 2025 ESA Prize for Exceptional Achievement honours those overcoming challenges to make impactful contributions to exp. econ. Prof. Erin Krupka has impressive work on social norms and on incentivized norm elicitation techniques that have become a cornerstone in the field.

The 2025 ESA Young Scholar Prize recognizes those who have made a significant methodological contribution to experimental economics. Prof. Christine Exley is recognized for her research on motivated reasoning, charitable giving, and gender and for her innovative experimental designs..

We announce the Distinguished Service Award to honor those who have played an exceptional role in the administration and growth of the ESA over their careers. We are proud to distinguish former ESA Presidents Professors Yan Chen (2015-18) and Catherine Eckel (2017-19)
