Love it when an impromptu visit to the coast results in a bargain book purchase (£1) gives me something of pure joy to read, and to dream of another life. And of course all the better with coffee too.

Hot off the needles in the knitting corner this morning is a new rustic #EcoBeanies special in colours inspired by nature - the yarn is Icelandic #lettlopi. This one is a #beaniesforbirders design based on a Common Sandpiper - I love the colours. Happy with my new larger branding buttons too. ♥️🪡🧶

Had fun today trying out my new fieldscope and phonescoping kit at RSPB Saltholme, our local #birdwatching patch. Managed to film a Spoonbill and a Common Gull and given they were quite a distance away am really happy with the footage. More #beaniesforbirders #knitting inspiration. #mybirdinglife

#Ecobeanies is venturing into the world of socks and whilst not quite brave enough to turn heels yet, am super happy with my first attempt at tube socks. These are made out of Naturgarn from Viking of Norway. Any top tips for sock #knitting gratefully received. 🧶🪡❤️

Just finished crafting the yuletide wreath with Willow, Holly, Ivy, Pine, Lemons, Limes, Oranges and a bit of Chilli Pepper 🌶. Now hanging on the brass door knocker bought from a bohemian shop full of stock sourced from India many years ago.Happy #yuletide! 🎄♥️
