We want to give a big shout out to all of our volunteers who helped us educate over 1,300 residents on storm water pollution this year. These volunteers helped to mark 488 storm drains around the community with our "Drains to Stream; Keep it Clean" reminder. Have you seen these in your neighborhood?
November 8, 2025 at 6:01 PM
I spy with my little eyes...a storm drain! In the fall these drains play an important role in making sure our streets don't flood. However, they cannot do their jobs when leaves and other yard debris block them. While raking leaves this fall remember to rake them to the curb but NOT into the street.

Before you throw away that Halloween jack-o-lantern, consider composting! Pumpkins that end up in the landfill release a great deal of methane, a potent greenhouse gas that has a scary effect on the environment! Composting your pumpkin in your backyard compost is the best option! #TrashTipThursday
