(Also every time I swap from SOJ to XIV I am reminded of how essential strafe buttons are to a traditional MMO UI, because without them you're constantly messing with the camera and that defeats the purpose of the wide angle camera view)

Why do I keep getting credit card offers in the mail? How many credit cards does one person need, and how does this benefit the companies issuing them? Are you hoping to collect interest in case I forget to pay the bill? Mystifying.

After some amount of digging it turns out that the old Notepad program still exists, it's at C:\Windows\notepad.exe but you have to go into app settings and disable the new one to get it to work.

Spent 3 hours sorting out Why Is The Smoke Alarm Beeping Randomly For No Reason and it turned out to be a low battery issue in a different smoke alarm from the one we kept reinstalling.

Tools: key remover, water, soap, tissues, Q tip, canned air, hand vacuum.
It's not 100% necessary to do this that often but it does get gross if you don't and enough debris may make keys stop working.

The problem with grindy gacha type games trying to do holiday events is that nobody wants to spend their holiday pointlessly grinding your mobile game (yes hi FGO) and many of these do not get the memo.

Unlike a lot of other games the result of "selling cosmetics" is that you can redo your character creation options at any time for 200 F2P currency and, once you save the new preset, switch between *faces and body shapes* at any time.
