I’m glad to see the protests went off yesterday with no violence. Thats how America is supposed to work. Protest all you want folks, but do it peacefully. It’s the American way.

I'm back.
I was troubled by Charlie Kirk's assassination and liked the idea of open dialog between people of different views, which he championed.
I underestimated how much vitriol his name inspired. I don't defend Charlie and that was never my intention.

The middle class and the poor keep getting further behind because they live their lives in dollars, or euros etc… the amount of that money is expanding at faster and faster rates so prices rise, far faster than their wages. What used to be a comfortable salary now feels like it barely gets you by.

As bad as the bitcoin ignorance is on this site, the bitcoin scam shit is worse.
I scroll past it because it’s so obviously a scam to me but it just struck me - if I was as ignorant as the average BlueSky user seems to be about bitcoin I might actually fall for this shit.
