A kingfisher made from a circular saw blade, paint pen, and spray paint. I sketched it, Echo cut it out and added the copper eye, and I painted it. This was a gift, but we'd love to make more birds like this! What birds would you want to see?

One time while finishing up slaughtering a couple pigs to hang for the night, which is a real greasy slippery ordeal, the big cleaver slipped out of my hand and I went to grab it like a fool. The usefulness of my right hand was impacted for a while after that.
As many of us begin Christmas meal prep, allow me to share the advice that my ER nurse sister puts in the chat every year:

The oppression of the working classs and the long term psychological effects of relying on machines to think for us, I believe, are far more foundational problems regarding AI which aren't potentially solvable like some of the environmentalist arguments might be.

Bob is right. Alice may or may not get "savaged" but that is not the point here. "I am not good at it" is the default state, and if you outsource creativity to the machine it will be the only state.

Finally finished this guy! I had a lot of fun integrating (and then oxidizing) so much copper into this bird, and I think I really got a good silhouette going on with this one 💝
