We created a national database for Germany, but many cities have detailed information on memorials. From Wuppertal a memorable memorial: https://buff.ly/4gvsL1K.
Our database was constructed from scratch, starting with empirical data like GPS coordinates of memorials dedicated to death marches (as shown in the image). As more data points were incorporated, a distinct pattern emerged from Oranienburg to Schwerin, paths from the past.
