The news from Minneapolis today is heartbreaking—ICE is a masked, heavily-armed force that has now taken the life of an American citizen. The EC Dems condemn this horrible act, and our deepest sympathies go out to her family.

The Eau Claire Democrats are incredibly grateful for Tim Walz’s staunch advocacy of progressive values in Minnesota. With him as Governor, Minnesota has pioneered innovative programs to meet the needs of the community. We hope our next Governor is able to fight for a similar model here in Wisconsin.

We’ve fought hard to expand the resources we offer the community, and we’re so proud of what Eau Claire has been able to accomplish. We are a city that cares about its citizens, and we will continue to fight for the Valley to have better care.

Banning books is authoritarian and immoral, period. The EC Dems oppose book bans in their entirety, they are a blatant violation of the first amendment and an insult to our Constitution.
