This is what a rigged economy looks like:

In the 1970s, CEOs made 27 times more than the average worker.

In the 1980s, CEOs made 48 times more than the average worker.

This decade, CEOs are making 354 times more than the average worker.

That has got to change.

As a scholar, I’m probably just biased in my preference plain old ordinary intelligence over artificial varieties. But seriously…AI gives me the creeps.
Don't trust "AI" and also realize that the push to have "AI" in everything happened because some tech people wanted to get rich and other tech people didn't want others to get rich without them, and now they've all spent too much money on a bad product and are trying to scramble out of the hole.
Columbia Journalism Review tested eight generative AI search tools and found their answers were wrong 60% of the time, and the paid ones actually fared worse than the free ones.

Meanwhile, millions of people trust the way they present total bullshit with confident language.

Netanyahu has not allowed any food, water, or fuel into Gaza in two weeks.

Now he has resumed bombing, killing hundreds of people and breaking the ceasefire that had given Gaza a chance to live again.

NO MORE MILITARY AID TO ISRAEL.

I’m working with the Council for the Anthropology of Reproduction’s Advocacy Committee. We’re looking to channel advocacy efforts that direction. Wanna uplift/fund/fuel the real work. It would be amazing to have a real human-to-human connection to make sure we’re getting this right (best we can).

We have to get ahead of this. I'm drawing folks together to discuss how we stop the private equity take-over of community-based maternal health infrastructure, and build the birth culture and care fabric we deserve - that serves us and not profit motives. Please message me if you're down.

Been seeing a lot of Arendt being shared so I went to the source. There’s a lot in this massive volume that I disapprove of (mostly the pervasive logics of white and european supremacy baked into many of her arguments) and almostst as much that I am grateful to read articulated with such power.
