I’m kind of surprised Volks doesn’t have some sort of like stamp thing or other commemorative system for visiting their different locations? given how much Japanese establishments love that sort of thing and how I’m pretty sure SD/DD people do already place value in visiting various Volks locations

On the day of my flight out of Hokkaido I remembered visiting Volks’ Sapporo location was an option and did, expecting the display to have many Mikus.…there were no less than six entire Mikus

I’ve always thought “since I have much less of a hardline anti-AI stance than most artists and also draw kind of badly/in ways that make no sense, I wonder if i will ever be accused of using AI art” but at this point AI is so much better at anatomy then me that I feel that it will ever happen lol

I dream of the day the English fandom world catches up with the Japanese one in understanding that printing out and selling your fanfic is morally and legally equivalent to printing out and selling your fancomic or fanart (i.e.: cool and fine) rather than uniquely somehow more of a litigation risk

also unironically think that after 3.5 years the absolute best quality writing I’ve ever done for my beloved MiA muses is still trapped in unfinished drafts from 2022
and meanwhile the most janky quality is in that one unhinged threesome fic

Assessing my own work coolheadedly, I’m proud of 2.5/4 of my LOGH works and consider their average writing quality notably higher than my MiA fics, but writing MiA is more fun.
