My interpretation: @noiweala.bsky.social appears to be subtly advising against retaliation, suggesting dialogue and potential solutions like new alliances. Also, I think she's encouraging countries to take up the issue directly with the US, as she feels powerless to intervene
WTO chief @noiweala.bsky.social says many countries have been in touch asking for economic analysis of the impact of US tariffs/potential reaction on trade. Response will be provided to countries, but in the meantime member countries should also talk with each other to address the issue, she advised

As history shows, trade wars have no winners. The question is not whether the US will pay a price for Trump’s tariffs, but how severe the damage will be and how long it will take to repair
