We know things seem bleak right now, but we can write the new stories of what a next-generation of working-family leaders. We will close the books that tell the tales of days gone and work towards what a better tomorrow looks like for this state and country. Together we can.

We are sickened by ICE’s extrajudicial detainment of Comptroller and Mayoral candidate Brad Lander today. Release him immediately. This is authoritarianism. Any elected official who stays silent is complicit. If you’re near 26 Fed. Plaza, go show your support for Brad.

The Eastern Queens Democratic Club was founded by a Jewish Man and a Muslim woman. We know that we can all come together and rise above those who seek to divide us.

Compliance with Local Law 97 is a big issue for the many co-ops in our community. Unlike Cuomo, who can’t even remember the name of the law, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social has a thorough plan to help homeowners comply and relieve the financial burden of it. Don’t rank Cuomo.

We need the East Queens Democratic Club because they’re not going to smile for photo ops with fascists. Unlike the wishy washy appeasers current running the show.

There are local Dem Clubs who take pride in posing for photos at every opportunity with bigoted officials who spread fear, hatred and lies. Then there’s us, who choose to fight against their bigotry with the dreams of what can be possible for a brighter NY that works for all.
