We are sickened by ICE’s extrajudicial detainment of Comptroller and Mayoral candidate Brad Lander today. Release him immediately. This is authoritarianism. Any elected official who stays silent is complicit. If you’re near 26 Fed. Plaza, go show your support for Brad.

Fascism seeks to weaponize both Islamophobia and Antisemitism to harm Jews and Muslims and also to divide our beautiful multicultural community. We choose solidarity over division.

The Eastern Queens Democratic Club was founded by a Jewish Man and a Muslim woman. We know that we can all come together and rise above those who seek to divide us.

And while some of our local East Queens electeds have campaigned on fixing the broken NYC tax system for a decade with no plan, Zohran has a plan for that too.

Compliance with Local Law 97 is a big issue for the many co-ops in our community. Unlike Cuomo, who can’t even remember the name of the law, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social has a thorough plan to help homeowners comply and relieve the financial burden of it. Don’t rank Cuomo.

We need the East Queens Democratic Club because they’re not going to smile for photo ops with fascists. Unlike the wishy washy appeasers current running the show.

There are local Dem Clubs who take pride in posing for photos at every opportunity with bigoted officials who spread fear, hatred and lies. Then there’s us, who choose to fight against their bigotry with the dreams of what can be possible for a brighter NY that works for all.
