A friend recently recommended rereading Sherri Tepper’s A Gate to Women’s Country and I can’t do that right now. But I decided to reread her True Game series and enjoyed immersing myself in that world again. “Walk well upon the lovely land” is a phrase that never leaves me.

It was pleasant enough today today to polyurethane my distraction-from-politics painting. The first is an old table and the second a recycled satellite dish. Maybe it will bring in something good!
