it might have been just silly videos and comedic relief to you, but to so many others it has been representation, education, community, organization, amplification, and so much more.

the “get off social media” take is exhausting. i’m happy for you— that all you have to do is set down your phone to find relief. but the brutal reality is that getting offline doesn’t stop the horrors from happening.

for an empath, all it does is make the anxiety worse. the not knowing is worse.

coming to bluesky because of meta’s fact-checking announcement is a good plan.

not abandoning the communities you’ve cultivated on meta is also a good plan.

they would love to see us disconnected, wouldn’t they?

Meta is pure evil and deserves to be wiped off the face of the planet. They removed all restrictions on content targeting protected characteristics i.e. hate speech.

Anyone working there is complicit. You are enabling this. You will have blood on your hands.
