Did you know that Citadel once made Stormtroopers as a test for a potential line of Star Wars minis?

Converted this one to be a Sandtrooper (a little greenstuff on the shoulder and chest).

Sadly, this one is almost certainly a recast, since it came from eBay. 😭

Final day of #guardvember

A Rogue Trader era plastic Imperial Guardsman done as a test for the theme & scheme of the entire army force. I wanted something fast and simple, while still looking nice!

I think I'll make 'em the Phyruss 7th, 8th and 13th regiments.

I haven't had time to paint lately, due to working furiously on a new TF2 map Atomic Ascent. It's not done and needs more work on missions but it is playable.

Current progress on the reimagined watchtower from #oldhammer scenario pack Bloodbath at Orc's Drift.

Foam and balsa construction, cardstock roof tiles. So far only primed and then airbrushed the base colour! Lots of brushwork yet to go.

Tried to touch up the armour with metallic medium and satin varnish after the dullcoat, to mixed results. 😅
