Birds are dinosaurs. They are avian dinosaurs, which makes ornithology a way more badass thing to be in to

Most birds do not mate for life, or at least not in the way most people mean (birds may be socially mated for multiple years, but are not sexually monogamous)

extra pair copulation is really common

Ants often act like inefficient goofballs. They got lost, accidentally drop their good and walk in circles trying to find it but eventually give up and go home, half of the ants in a nest just sit there 24/7 and do absolutely nothing.
