This sketch is how I see him being erased in real-life, Mind Flayer’s physical veins sprout inside him and use him as a puppet. And I kinda like to believe that Vecna’s body was formed similar way (Henry being erased, at least the hopeful part of him, which could have been brought back by Patty)

Unfortunately I don’t see it as him being towards being the happiest, the way I interpret it is that he feels the need to be needed by someone, and El was the one who needed help that day. My issues with it is that wasn’t a “I loved you the day I met” (especially since they were kids)

Again, this comic is not about Mike not caring about Jane but about how he lied in his speech, at least in my interpretation! His mind was more focused on Will, not on her, but he couldn’t stop himself from helping a kid in need, that’s just how Mike is (therefore he is truly THE HEART)

To be fair I saw that as both being mad AND scared, and I don’t blame him, it is reasonable to be afraid of such power. It doesn’t mean he suddenly doesn’t care about Jane but he shouldn’t lie about him not being scared of her (because sometimes he is and that’s okay, it’s his actions that matters)

The only thing that felt true was about Benny's t-shirt on El (and Eleven actually chuckled at that moment, which was cute). Everything else in his speech completely contradicts what we have seen in the show.

If anyone was wondering why I haven’t posted any art since the start of 2026 - russia has severely damaged our energy infrastructure in an attempt to freeze Ukrainian civilians, especially in the capital where I live, during an abnormally cold winter with temperatures dropping as low as −20 °C.
Another 10 hours with no electricity. Again, I have to jump up and do whatever I can at 3 a.m., since that’s the only time I have basic human necessities available to me in a European capital in 2026, because of a neighbouring terrorist state.
