Cory Booker. A Democrat in Congress finally DID something. And it matters. He is also a Black senator who broke segregationist Strom Thurmond’s record 24 hour 18 minute speech in 1957 opposing the Civil Rights Act. Now other democrats need to follow his lead and do something to save this country.

I don’t think I have ever been more ashamed to be an American—and that is really saying something given our history. I stand with Ukraine, its president, and its people.
