Always a good rule of thumb.
Dungeons should feel dangerous—places that inspire a healthy dose of fear when players send their characters inside. Survival should never be guaranteed. In the immortal words of The Eagles: “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave.”

Quick Review: If you like dragons and adventure anthologies, Dragon Delves delivers. Easy to run, flexible, and varied enough for most tables. Not quite Tales from the Yawning Portal tier, but a solid B. Loses points for no new monsters and a weak “History of Dragons.” #DnD
Digging through the new Dragon Delves adventure anthology, and I couldn't help but notice a bit of a parallel to some classic #DnD pixel art from the old Gold Box #Dragonlance adventure, Champions of Krynn. I approve!

Monks in #DnD feel close to greatness, but something’s missing. Is it the focus on Eastern martial arts over general hand-to-hand combat? Are their abilities too thinly spread? Is the ki mechanic underwhelming? What would it take to make monks true slobberknockers?
