BASH: There's no question that Maduro was a destabilizing force in the region. People are celebrating in the streets all over. Is it fair to say there's some benefit in him not being in power?

I want to remind everyone that the US has sanctioned members of the International Criminal Court for going through a formal legal process to identify international leaders who engaged in war crimes, making them vulnerable to arrest.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Why wasn't congressional authorization necessary?

RUBIO: It wasn't necessary because this was not an invasion. We didn't occupy a country. This was an arrest operation.

Ryan: This is clearly us starting another forever war—which the American people do not support.

Trump is just straight up admitting this is a war for oil, and that he is willing to send our blood and treasure, to “run Venezuela,” whatever the hell that means, with no plan.

MARCO RUBIO: Well, the Cuban government is a huge problem. Yeah.

WELKER: Is that a yes?

RUBIO: I think they're in a lot of trouble, yes

Maduro's inner circle remains in place. VP Rodriguez was in Russia getting orders, yet she's getting a pass? Meanwhile, Trump’s sidelining Machado? I guess dedicating her Nobel to him wasn't enough to make up for 'stealing' his prize. Is this a transition or just a new boss for the same old system?

Now that 'we' are 'running' Venezuela, what’s actually being done for the people? Over half the country lives in extreme poverty and needs immediate help. Millions are without shelter, healthcare, or protection from violence. Is anyone actually going to 'run' towards helping them?

U.S. military spending is set to hit a record $1 trillion.

Roughly half of defense spending goes to private contractors that routinely price-gouge the government.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon has failed EIGHT straight audits.

This is the military industrial complex on steroids.

Isn't it odd that the United States has enough money to suddenly run Venezuela, but not enough to run our own country?

There is always cash in the piggy bank for bombs to kill people, but never for healthcare to keep them alive.
