Found a really interesting site/info graphic for music history fans like myself. It's musicmap.info. it has made me reorder my journey through music on the road to rock and roll. Thought I would share with you all.
History on why I started this in the first place. I have always been a fan of music; rock music in particular. I was listening to John Lee Hooker and realized I've never looked at the roots of rock music. So, since I was familiar with blues music, I started there.

Rock and roll Odyssey (post 2)
It's been interesting listening to the ragtime compilations on Spotify. You can tell a clear difference between the 1910's era ragtime and the 1920's style. The 20's seems... souless. Even the old 1910 recordings have such bounce and life to them.
